Junior Account Manager
You’re just starting your career, or you’ve already taken your first steps. What you bring to the table is energy, a thirst for learning, and the will to succeed. What do we offer you? A team that supports you, a manager who coaches you the way it should be done, and the chance to learn the trade from the very best. At OneXillium, one thing is certain: we invest in your talent—today, tomorrow, and five years from now.
Because one thing sets our sales approach apart: we don’t sell products; we help organizations work securely in the digital realm through information security, information management, and smart print management. With over 5,000 customers in the Benelux, we’re a fast-growing organization—and we need you.
Which team will you be working on?
You’ll be working in our sales team at our beautiful office in Utrecht, as part of a close-knit, energetic team that celebrates and learns together. You’ll have a manager with excellent coaching experience who will do everything possible to help you become the best version of yourself. You’ll start out with a personal buddy who will show you all the systems, clients, and unwritten rules. In short, you’ll never be on your own.
What are you going to do?
As a Junior Account Manager, you’ll be the face of OneXillium to (potential) clients. You won’t learn the ropes from a call center—you’ll learn by doing. You’ll be out in the field, talking with clients, and working under the guidance of experienced colleagues. Slowly but surely, you’ll build your own portfolio.
Your main responsibilities:
- You actively reach out to potential customers. You do this by phone, via LinkedIn, and especially during in-person visits.
- You will maintain relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities to further assist them with information security, information management, or printing solutions.
- Under supervision, you will prepare quotes and follow up on them from the initial consultation through to customer satisfaction.
- You'll work closely with our technical experts and our Customer Delight Center on a daily basis to ensure that customers always receive the best service.
- You track your sales opportunities in Salesforce and discuss your progress with your manager on a weekly basis.
- You’ll accompany senior colleagues on client visits and gradually take on more and more accounts of your own.
- Earn well: a competitive gross monthly salary that matches your skills.
- Bonus Program: In addition to your salary, you’ll earn a share of your own success through our bonus program.
- Excellent benefits: electric lease car, laptop, cell phone, 8% vacation pay, 26 vacation days based on full-time employment (plus the day after Ascension Day), and a good retirement plan.
- A flying start: a comprehensive onboarding process, a personal mentor, and the best sales training you can get.
- Variety and collaboration: You’ll work at our office in Utrecht, on-site at client locations, and from home. No two days are the same.
At OneXillium, it’s all about talent—not what you can’t do yet, but what you’re naturally good at. Here’s how we approach this:
- Top-Notch Training: You’ll complete our comprehensive sales training program and continue to receive training afterward. We make a long-term investment in your professional future.
- Talent Program: You’ll take the CliftonStrengths talent assessment and discuss your unique talents in person. That way, we’ll build your role around your strengths.
- Personal Development Plan: You’ll work on your professional development together with your coaching manager.
- Career advancement opportunities: from Junior Account Manager to Senior Account Manager or a move toward our cybersecurity and information management division.
- MBO 4+ or HBO level of work and thinking. Whether you're just starting out or have 1 to 2 years of relevant (work) experience—for example, through an internship or your first job—we'll make it happen.
- Excellent Dutch and good English communication skills, both written and oral.
- An affinity for the digital world. You don't have to be a tech expert, but you're willing to learn.
- You are available to work 32–40 hours per week.
- You get energy from interacting with people. A good conversation with a stranger doesn't make you nervous—it makes you excited.
- You're eager to learn: you ask for feedback and act on it.
- You're resilient; for you, a "no" is the starting point for a better attempt.
- You take ownership: you feel responsible for your clients, your results, and your growth.
