You'll be working on the Cyber Security Consultants team led by Sander Bussink.
What are you going to do?
As a Cyber Security Consultant, you’ll play a crucial and dynamic role within the Security Operations Center (SOC) of one of our clients. You’ll help them set up detection mechanisms that provide insight into—and build resilience against—targeted cyberattacks. You’ll assist with operational security tasks, such as setting up an alert system to better detect hackers. You’ll also draft policies and procedures in manuals outlining how to respond to specific incidents.
You’re a driven professional with a background in cybersecurity (e.g., SANS certification, CISSP) and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. As part of our close-knit team of specialists, you can count on support and knowledge sharing—something we strongly encourage.
With your interest in security, you enjoy being constantly challenged and keeping your technical knowledge up to date. You have an affinity for threat hunting and indications of compromise, and you’re comfortable conducting impact analyses of new vulnerabilities. In addition, you’ll help clients optimize the configuration of their SIEM environment.
A major advantage of our consulting firm is that assignments typically last at least three to six months—and often considerably longer. This allows you to really get to know the client and apply your expertise over the long term. Sometimes you’ll work for a single client; other times, you’ll work for several at the same time.
In addition, there’s nothing quite like being able to work independently. We’re happy to discuss with you how you can organize your work in the way that suits you best. This position is available for a minimum of 36 hours per week. You’ll work partly from home and partly in the office to ensure a good work-life balance. What would you like to offer OneXillium?
• Preferably a completed degree at the higher professional education (HBO) level;
• Supplemented with certifications from SANS, CISSP, or equivalent;
• You are an entrepreneurial and enthusiastic consultant with at least 3 years of relevant work experience;
• You have a good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
• You are professional in appearance and have a positive and proactive attitude;
• You have excellent communication skills;
• You can work independently and enjoy taking on and handling responsibility.

Salary: A gross monthly salary starting at €4,000.00 based on a 40-hour workweek and a mid-level profile

You can perform your work from various locations. OneXillium has an office in Arnhem where you can work. OneXillium’s headquarters is located at Winthontlaan 1 in Utrecht. You can also perform your work from this location in Utrecht. We’re happy to offer you this flexibility. In addition, you’ll also be working on-site at our clients’ locations.
