A strong position within industries is built primarily by sharing knowledge. We are constantly looking for partners who can make a valuable contribution and add value for our customers. One such partner is supRmen. Jasper Nederlof, the founder of supRmen—AI-Powered Real Estate Technology—explains what they do and how we complement each other in the areas of AI and data.

Introduction to supRmen

We asked Jasper for a brief introduction: “supRmen stands for ‘straight up air men.’ Broadly speaking, we focus on two areas of activity. On the one hand, we provide a service for the photorealistic 3D digitization of real estate properties, using drones (photos and video footage), among other methods. On the other hand, we’ve grown into a software company that develops smart solutions, enabling us to analyze information about properties even faster using AI tools. As a result, for example, building elements, damage, and dimensions are automatically recognized. This allows housing authorities to work faster and save significantly on inspection costs. Our mission is to provide every stakeholder within a housing association with the right data to carry out their work. Simply because it’s possible nowadays, and there are far more useful tasks to be done than climbing onto a roof.’

Has Jasper been in touch with OneXillium?

How did

“I know Tim van Haagen, the Sales Director at OneXillium. He advised me to get in touch with Marco van Drogenbroek, a consultant specializing in housing cooperatives. We had a productive conversation. Our focus is on processing up-to-date real estate data to generate valuable insights. By reliably mapping entire buildings with millimeter-level precision, we create a vast trove of additional data for housing cooperatives. And that’s exactly where Marco’s expertise comes into play.” However, you’ll always need to agree on a workable structure. The keywords (metadata) that are already linked to existing data can, of course, be used. That’s where Marco’s advice comes into play.

Strengthening Each Other

“I see everything we do as creating a massive visual umbrella. But you can only make something visible if you can also find all the visual material—such as building photos or 3D models—at the right moment. Marco hit the nail on the head by emphasizing that ‘finding’ is better than ‘searching.’ In short, my conclusion was that, precisely because of the increase in the amount of data, centralizing data plays a major role. Moreover, everything we do is based on delivering quality. That also means that data must be stored securely and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and must be able to integrate with other systems. OneXillium also possesses a great deal of expertise in that area. Finally, photo and video material always involves very large files. Traditional document management systems are often unable to handle these. Strengthening our partnership therefore means that we will recommend each other and visit housing associations together.

For housing authorities

The value

The Value for Housing Associations
“Many housing associations are facing an aging population and a lack of new residents. That’s why operations need to be managed more efficiently, and AI technology can play a major role in getting more done with fewer staff. We address issues like incomplete or fragmented data by providing more data and storing it in a central location. As a result, housing associations can respond proactively not only to their tenants but also, for example, to their maintenance services. From supRmen’s perspective, there’s another advantage worth mentioning: disruption to residents is greatly reduced because the use of a drone eliminates the need to set up ladders, scaffolding, or aerial work platforms.

“Our collaboration is all about creating a reliable visual framework: all the real estate data we record must be easy to find when needed, but also securely stored.”

For the Future

Options

Where else are there opportunities for collaboration? That was the last question we asked Jasper. “It’s interesting that when it comes to data, it’s also about providing information. For example, we have a duty to notify residents—such as letting tenants know that a drone inspection is going to take place. This outbound communication is often still sent the traditional way by mail, just as is often the case with housing authorities. OneXillium also has extensive expertise in outbound communication, enabling us to inform tenants in the manner preferred by our clients (mail, email, WhatsApp).”
